I live on a small acreage in North Central Iowa,
and enjoy raising a few foals each year.
The Ideal cross in my humble opinion, is speed on cow.
With that combination you have a horse who will have speed to burn
and hunt a barrel like a cow and do just about anything you want to.
Joe is just about everything you would want in a horse.
He is pretty to look at, smart, athletic, and passes all this on
to his get . Joe's grandsire, Jody Fairfax was the
'82 NCHA Reserve World Ch Cutting Horse,
with LTE of $89,000,by Goodbye Sam
(one of only 46 AQHA Supreme Champions).
Joe's dam is a daughter of the great race horse, Tolltac SI 113
by Beduino; and out of Jet Accordant SI 107.
Joe's sire can be seen at:
We will be starting Joe on barrels this summer. He has had a
limited amount of team penning under his belt and loves to chase
cows. This is what we strive for in a horse, one who can hunt up
a barrel or cow and have speed to burn when you ask for it.
If you are interested in putting a pretty head on a Leo bred horse,
here is your chance!
